How Gantner.Qreader works

The Gantner.Qreader collects data from various sources within a power plant, including inverters, weather stations, grid measurement devices and additional sensors. It processes this data with high temporal resolution and stores it locally or transmits it to SCADA or cloud systems via standardized communication protocols.

At the same time, the integrated Power Plant Controller (PPC) uses this data to actively control the plant according to grid requirements. Functions such as active power limitation, voltage regulation or reactive power control are executed in real time, ensuring compliance with grid codes and stable plant operation.

Thanks to its modular design, the system can be extended at any time with additional I/O modules. This allows operators to adapt the solution to growing plant sizes or new requirements without replacing existing infrastructure.
