Power Summit 2026: Gantner joins enviaM's summit on the energy transition

We were pleased to attend the Power Summit 2026, hosted by the enviaM-Gruppe, and to join representatives from business, politics, academia, and local government in discussing the key topics shaping the energy transition.

Our CEO Jörg Scholz represented Gantner Instruments Environment Solutions at the event and had the pleasure of meeting enviaM-CEO Stephan Lowis on site.

A sincere thank you goes to Stephan Lowis and the entire enviaM team for a summit that put the right topics on the agenda. Five takeaways in particular resonated with Jörg Scholz – and align closely with what is also central to us:

  • Renewables build resilience.
An energy system based on renewable sources makes us more independent and more resistant to crises.
  • Permitting and regulation must become simpler.
If we take the energy transition seriously, bureaucratic hurdles can no longer be allowed to slow down the rollout.
  • Less complexity, more pragmatism.
The energy sector needs leaner processes. Simplification is the key to implementation.
  • Decentralised structures strengthen security of supply.
Many small, distributed generators make our system more stable and more resilient than a few large ones.
  • Raising public awareness matters.
The energy transition will only succeed if we bring people along and make it easy to understand what's at stake.

We would like to thank enviaM once again for the inspiring exchange and look forward to continuing these important conversations.
