Stadtwerke Annaberg-Buchholz has digitized and commissioned the first local grid substations using Gantner’s d.ONS system. This allows voltage, current, and load to be recorded every minute in the low-voltage grid—providing a better overview and ensuring safe, future-proof grid operation.
The solution combines measurement hardware (Q.reader + I/U modules) with a web portal. Thanks to preconfigured modules, the retrofit is virtually plug-and-play—in some cases, even without a power outage. This saves time and reduces downtime.
